The Archaeological Museum
The Archaeological Museum of Santorini stands on the main road of Santorini's capital, Fira. The rich collection of the museum exhibits various finds from the different excavations made in the island of Santorini. Among the collection exposed in the museum are Hellenistic and Roman sculptures and vases and clay figurines fro, the Geometric and Classical period.

The Megaron Gyzi
Located in the Catholic neighbourhood of Fira (Santorini's capital) this museum is really interesting and houses a collection of engravings dating from the 16th century to the 19th century. To this beautiful collection another one is added consisting in series of photographic material of this area before and after the disastrous earthquake of 1956 that hit the island of Santorini.

The Museum of Prehistoric Thera
This museum is located in Fira, capital of Santorini. It houses various finds from ancient Thira (or Thera) dating fro, the prehistoric times. Many masterpieces of art can be admired in this museum.

The Folklore Museum
The Folklore Museum is housed in a traditional cave house dating from 1861 in the capital of Santorini, Fira. It exhibits a collection of various local items such as barrel, shoe makers, local artist's works and a traditional winery.

The Naval Museum
Located in the beautiful and traditional village of Oia, in Santorini Island, this museum houses a rich collection of maritime items, retracing the naval history of the island of Santorini. A small library and the vestige of a Venetian fortress are also exhibited.

The Bellonio Cultural Centre and Library
This cultural centre can be found in Fira, capital of Santorini Island and houses a rich collection of books that have been written about wonderful Santorini.
