Santorini, over the years, has acquired a cosmopolitan character. Though it is not a famous shopping destination, it remains lovely with its small stores spread all around the island. Instead of big commercial centers, on Santorini you will find innumerable small shops. Most of them are souvenir stores for tourists.

There, you can find clothes, handmade pieces of jewelry, cosmetics, shoes, bags, gift items, beach equipment and nice souvenirs to take back home. You can find such gift stores almost anywhere on the island, mostly in Fira, Oia, Firostefani and Kamari. Prices are generally not very high, unless if you are buying handmade items. Also have in mind that some shops accept credit cards, while others do not, so make sure you have some cash with you.
